Cat Collars, Leashes and Harnesses

Whether you have an indoor cat or outdoor cat, it may be good to have a collar on the cat. On this page you will find several different kinds of cat collars in different materials, sizes and colors. We have reflective collars with address tags that are perfect for outdoor cats. If you write your name and phone number on the inside of the collar, or on a separate ID badge, others can contact you if the cat is found. Here you will also find cat harnesses and leashes for walking and outdoor activities with the cat.
Why use cat collars?
A cat collar can be a cheap life insurance when it comes to indoor cats that happen to end up on outdoor adventures. If the cat might slip out when the door is open, or perhaps through a window, it may run away or hide outside. Some indoor cats that happen to go out are kind to wait to be let in, while others may be scared and run and hide. If the cat has a collar on, it can make it easier for the cat to return home. If someone finds your cat outside and you have entered information in the cat's collar or on a separate ID-tag, they can call you so that the cat can get home again. Collars with reflective properties can be useful for outdoor cats that are out in the evenings and nights.
Cat harnesses
A harness for the cat you can use when you are going to cut claws, bathe or care for the cat, or when you are out walking with it. Some indoor cats appreciate being outdoors under controlled conditions and then a harness is perfect. With a cat harness, the cat can go outdoors and get useful exercise. You might be traveling or at a new place with the cat and want to keep it in the harness until it gets used to the new environment - or do you have a cat who loves to walk in the harness? With a harness you can have the cat on a leash or a long line. A long line for the cat allows the cat to move freely but controlled outdoors. This can be a good way to get an indoor cat used to the outdoors.
