Clippers and Trimmers for Cats
Sometimes you have to trim the cat for various reasons. Maybe you have a cat with a thick, long coat that becomes tangled. Or, things stick to the coat and hence you want to keep it short. You can also trim to style the cat's coat before shows. If you are a veterinarian or a vet nurse, it may be a good idea to have your own trimmer in your pocket for the times you need trim before blood tests or suturing. On this page you will find clippers and trimmers for cats.
A clipper or trimmer can be used to cut nice hairstyles, keep the tangled coat short when needed and to keep it clean around a wound. Some cats with long fur get tangles and knots in the coat that are difficult to sort out. These tangles can hurt because they pull on the skin and cause the cat to feel discomfort. Sometimes the solution can be to cut or trim the tangles, instead of spending time trying to sort them out (which is not always so easy or comfortable for the cat, and some cats are not so cooperative either). Some cats that are outdoors in the summer also get burrs and other things that get stuck in long fur, so for that reason one may want to trim the coat. Then it is advisable to use a clipper machine that is made for small animals. You can find this at this page at Petster.
