Puppy Toys

A puppy toy is specially designed for the smallest doggies. The puppy is happy to play a large part of his waking time - and to avoid chewing on furniture, home decor or other inappropriate "toys" it is good to give the puppy a selection of puppy toys to play with. One might have at least one soft toy, a squeak toy, a rubber toy and a ball to start with. Then you notice pretty quickly what the puppy prefers to play with. And the puppy can move on to the next toy when it gets tired of the first one. Many puppies like to play tug of war with its owner, so a fun rope toy or soft toy can be worth investing in.

Puppies get itchy gums in periods (or almost all the time) when puppy teeth are to be lost and new ones come out. Then it can be nice to chew on something with nice material that rubs against the gums. There are several different dental toys to choose from for the puppy. Some chew toys that are good for itchy teeth have knobs or spikes that the puppy can chew on to scratch on the gums.
