Seat Covers

Here you will find various protections and covers that are good to have in the car when traveling with a dog. Find trunk protection, seat covers, travel blankets and heat reflective silver cover. Regardless of whether the dog is traveling in a car harness, a seatbelt or a cage, it may be a good idea to protect seats or the trunk from fur and dirt. With a reflective silver cloth, the temperature in the car can be more comfortable for the dog if, for example, it sits in its cage in the trunk.

Protect your car from your dog

There are several ways to protect the car from dirt and fur from the dog. With seat covers, you can protect the front or rear seats by covering them. The seat covers are available in many different designs and materials. Common are soft fleece blankets, fake fur, cotton or wool. The covers can be form-fitting or of a universal size that is laid over the seats as a blanket, rug or hammock. Common ways of attaching the seat covers are with Velcro straps, elastic straps, quick clasps or by tying the straps. Cargo trunk covers protects the trunk of your car.  A travel blanket is a practical, foldable type of seat or luggage cover. We have a water-repellent variant with carrier handles from RAC. This can easily be brought in the car and folded out when it is to be used, in order to then quickly fold together when the dog is not in the car.

Other types of protection that can be used in the car are door covers and a barrier that prevents the dog from jumping inbetween the front seats. The door guard is a smart car accessory if you have a dog that travels in the back seat or front seat in a car belt or car harness. With the door cover, the car's interior is protected from the dog's paws (and maybe teeth) if you have a dog that likes to climb the door or stand and look out. In this way you avoid torn or dirty car doors. Backseat Barrier is the cover that is set up between the front seats and the back seat so that the dog cannot jump to the front (or back if it is in the front seat). This car accessory is excellent when the dog is to be left in the car for a short while and you want it to stay on a limited surface.
