Getting a puppy is one of the nicest things to do, but it can also be a lot to think about the first time, especially if it's your first dog and you're not used to dogs before. But you do not have to worry. With us at Petster you will find everything you need with regard to play, sleep and care for puppies.

Which are the most important products to get for my puppy?

There are many accessories for puppies but all are not necessary to have from the beginning. Buying puppy harnesses, leash and necklaces is important to have from the beginning because you will have to go hiking from the beginning and the former dog will get used to wearing the harness the better. It's not necessary to buy puppy stuff from the beginning, but we still recommend that you invest in some own things to the dog so that it does not cheat your stuff. If you want the puppy to have access to a part of the house, you can buy gates to help you whith that and then they are also good to have from the beginning so that the dog will get used to them. In the case of puppy training, we also have several good tools, even if you do not go to train it to be more than a pet dog, some exercise gives you an obedient and nice dog and you get a more enjoyable day together.

Play, eat and sleep

Where the puppy is allowed to be up to you as a family, but there are some rules to take into account. For example, in Sweden it's illegal to have the dog in the cage indoors but if you still want to limit the playground something, there are puppy gardens that are matched with the right measures so that the dog can play and have his own surface to be on. After the game, when the puppy is tired, it should have his own bed to sleep in. There are many puppy beds and puppies to choose from. Finding someone who feels good and that the puppy thrives in should therefore not be a problem. When it's time for the puppy to eat, it obviously has to have its own dining area with bowls for puppies where it is easy to get food and water. If the puppy is small and may not have enough food from his mother, we have special goat's milk  that works well as a replacement before it's big enough to accommodate plain food. But in the case of food and supplements for puppies, it may be a good idea to consult a veterinarian, for example, to advise just your dog.
