Spray on new stains and wait a few minutes.
Spray on old stains (ex on a rug). Cover with plastic foil and leave for 6-8 hours or during the night. Remove the plastic foil and then let (ex the carpet) air dry.
When the carpet dried, spray again. In some cases you may need to spray several times to remove an old stain.
