That it is wider in these places makes the rope halter extra comfortable for the horse and reduces the risk of chafing. The decorations are attached to a ring on each side and can easily be removed since they are fastened with quick snap buckles. You can remove them and use as keychains or pendants on the horse's other equipment! The noseband has two silver colored rings where you can attach the reins (included!).
