One of the most common health problems in horses is acute, chronic or allergy-related cough.

There can be many reasons why respiratory diseases in horses develop:

• Stable problems: Too much dust in the stable, lack of exercise, too little fresh air
• Previous infections that have not been treated properly
• Allergy to fungal spores from hay or straw, or to pollen from flowers
• Viruses, bacteria (sometimes also parasites)
• Genetic predisposition (congenital, inherited problems with the airways)

In most of the above cases, these causes can lead to a weakening of the immune system, which can lead to respiratory diseases (COB, COPD, IAD, RAO) also known as equine asthma.

One of the most effective treatments for respiratory problems is inhalation using cold nebulization with ultrasound. This allows the lungs to be treated directly. In addition to the treatment of diseases, inhalation is also used preventively and restoratively in sports.

A mask for big horses in warm blood size is included. You also need to buy expectorant liquid for your ultrasonic inhaler. You can choose between 2 options of salt water that are without clearance (item number K3228283 and K3228284), or an herbal solution (item number K3211820) with clearance!
