This back protection from equipage can protect your back in case of a fall. The protection is tested according to EN 1621-2: 2014 - a European standard that states how well it protects. This marking is also used for motorcyclists. The test shows whether they meet the requirements set for the protection to help in the event of a fall.
The back protection provides security for the spine from the waist up to the neck. The cover has a thick panel in the spine that will help in case of a fall and also has two small panels in the front for support there.
It is important that the protection is worn close to the body with only a thin layer of clothing for best protection. And that the protection is individually adapted to your body. See table for the size of the back protection below. X = back vertical Y = between shoulders - horizontal
Material:
Outer material front: 87% Polyester, 13% Elastane
Outer material backing: 100% Polyester
Lining: 85% nylon, 15% elastane
Lining: PVC - Nitrile foam
Washing instructions:
Hand wash or machine wash 30 degrees after removing foam pads.
Do NOT wash with foam pads in.
Do not immerse completely in water
Air dried on a hanger
Do not iron
Do not tumble dry
