Trikem MCT oil - 500 ml
Fast, gentle and clean energy!MCT oil based on 100% coconut oil with 62.4% caprylic acid (C8) and 36.4% capric acid (C10). These provide fast, gentle and clean energy. The oil has a neutral taste.
MCT is an abbreviation for Medium Chain Triglycerides and are fatty chains of medium length compared to a "regular" oil which consists of long fatty chains. The length of the fatty acid plays a big role when it comes to how it is absorbed and utilized by the body.
MCT oil is taken up directly in the small intestine, converted into energy in the liver and enters the cells more easily, where it is used by the mitochondria (the cell's power plant), which provides a quick and efficient energy supply for e.g. muscles, brain and heart. A fantastic fuel for the body!
MTC oil is recommended when you need quick and gentle energy. Because MCTs easily enter the cells without being broken down, they can be used as an immediate source of energy.
Dosage: 1-3 tablespoons/day. (start with a smaller dose and increase successively) Ready-to-use solution. Can be drunk as is or mixed into drinks.
